Digital Radiography

Digital radiography provides the ability to obtain excellent quality films in a digital format.

This technology has revolutionized radiology at our practice, allowing both the storing of radiographs as computer files and the ability to burn a CD which can be viewed on a computer elsewhere.

Being able to post-process the images has allowed more information to be gained from each image, allowing identification of bone damage previously missed by plain film.

This technology has provided us with excellent definition in areas where optimal images were previously difficult to obtain, including the spine, head, pelvis, hip and shoulder of adult horses.
