Video endoscopy of an upper airway

Along with the use of portable fibre optic endoscopes commonly used in the field, the video-endoscopy unit at the Randwick Equine Centre allows a permanent record in both video and still prints.

The video endoscope is used primarily for upper airway endoscopy, including the guttural pouches. The unit also allows the stomach, urethra and bladder to be evaluated visually.
