James joined the practice in 1992 after completing his degree at the Massey University in New Zealand. He later spent time working in South East Asia for the Malaysian Racing Association, before moving back to the Randwick Equine Centre as partner. James more recently (2011) moved to Bowral, NSW and became a founding partner of the Southern Highlands Equine Centre.
An experienced racetrack and general practitioner of over 20 years, James now shares his time between both practices. James has a special interest in lameness and podiatry and provides expert care to race horses most mornings at Warwick Farm, whilst his afternoons are spent servicing the performance horse properties of the Southern Highlands.
